Sensory Area

Feely holes

Which creature is hiding next to each hole? Reach inside and feel, if you are brave enough. Or stand at the back and watch other people's hands…

The Dark

There's no need to be afraid of the dark. Come inside and see... Coloured lights make coloured shadows! A bright flash 'freezes' your shadow onto a sheet of glow-in-the-dark plastic. The mirror-ball reflects light everywhere!

Reverse vision

Look down through the special viewer at your own feet. Now try to walk around the pole. See! Learning to walk is pretty tough for a toddler…

[The special prism reverses your view of left and right.]

Tunnel

Puzzle Table

Story Tent

Creep quietly inside the tent and sit on the floor around the slowly rotating coloured light.. Listen to Wilderness Garden, the story of Timothy, who discovered an unexpected world of WILD ANIMALS living all around his home. The story repeats every 15 minutes.

Panning for gold

Use a metal sieve to search for gold among the small stones in the stream.

Weigh what you find. Write down the weight in the LOG BOOK, with your name.

Is it real gold? Well, it certainly LOOKS like it…
