Now well-known and increasingly in demand in schools, libraries and at major science events including the Edinburgh Science Festival, the British Association Annual Meeting, ASE Conferences, "science weeks", and BAYS Days. "Blown-up Biology". A completely new, multimedia show combining projected images of live microscope specimens, close-up real-time video views of various plants and "minibeasts", with steadily-evolving use of computer graphics, sound and recorded video clips. (This project is funded through the Royal Society and British Association Millennium Awards Scheme, financed by the Millennium Commission, to encourage people's understanding of science engineering and technology in the community.) "The Amazing Hovering Sausage". Kitchen-table science "busking" with trestle-tables and sound-system, engaging the attention of passers-by, especially families with children. Including a performance in the middle of the Eagle Centre indoor market in Derby. Hard work but popular! "Seashore-life Spectacular". A slide show, designed to inspire and constantly evolving since 1980, about the biology and the beauty of British marine life. Flexibly adapted for diverse audiences ranging from The Manchester Microscopical Society, museums, and Women's Institute groups, to primary school children as young as six years old. Reports,
