The Tain Holiday Village
This is the science centre which I set up at the Tain Holiday Village, Omeath, Ireland. Notice the children's play area right beside it. This was a science centre run as a commercial venture, as part of a tourist facility in a rural area.
It opened in May 1994 with over twenty interactive science exhibits in the 200 square metres building. I was required to design, fabricate and install all the exhibits within two months of receiving the order.
I am particularly proud of a photograph showing a signpost at the centre of this visitor-complex. It says : SWIMMING POOL - RESTAURANT & COFFEE SHOP - INDOOR PLAY AREA - TENNIS - PITCH & PUTT - GAMES ROOM - TV ROOM - SNOOKER - HANDS ON SCIENCE CENTRE
