This facsimile machine explains the method of enlarging, copying, scanning, faxing, and printing. The animated gadgetry shows a man with his tie stuck in the printer with the end of the tie emerging from the front side of the printer, as the man moves up and down by a linear actuator. At the interactive exhibit the visitor can enlarge or reduce objects with a lamp and glass fibre. The original exhibit cost was in the region of £11,400 (excluding
