The mechanical wall is made to allow the visitor to play with figures
that are mechanically animated by moving cords. On top and on the sides
of the wall are bars that move from side to side and up and down. The
visitor can now hang a figure on the wall by putting a steel pin in
a hole in the wall. By coupling the figure with a cord to a moving bar,
the figure will start to move.
